Welcome to Hound Around Resort we are a family-owned and operated premier doggy daycare, boarding, and spa!

Hound Around Resort is a family-owned and operated pet resort that serves all of Cottage Grove and the surrounding areas. Our facility can be found off Highway 61, just minutes south of the Twin Cities.

For your convenience, you can drop off and pick up your dog for daycare or boarding at any time during our hours of operation. 

Our newly expanded facility was designed for dogs of all ages and breeds; keeping in mind that every dog is unique and requires care in different ways. All dogs that attend daycare or boarding will be evaluated to ensure we are providing the best care possible during their visit.

For our daycare guests, we provide large open areas for your dog to run and play with a wide range of activities to keep them entertained and very busy. We have 4,500 ft. of indoor play areas that are temperature-controlled and an additional 4,300 ft. of outdoor play.

Our playground is equipped with ramps, tunnels, and the pups new favorite real fire hydrants! We do offer separate playgroups for our smaller breed or shy guests which are available upon request.

Our boarding rooms are designed with comfy suites ranging in size from 4 x 6 ft. for our smaller guests all the way up to 6 x 8 ft. for our larger breed dogs or for families with multiple pups. All of our sleeping areas are equipped with flat-panel TV’s to provide some calming background noise during the evening hours.

During the day your pup will spend their time playing with all their furry friends at no extra charge. Our building is equipped with a state-of-the-art fire and security system, so you can rest assured your dog will sleep safe and sound.

The spa is conveniently located on-site and offers a wide range of services. Our experienced, gentle staff is available seven days a week allowing you to book your grooming appointment around daycare or a boarding stay.

All our pups receive lots of love and attention from our well-trained team while you’re at work, on vacation, or just running errands. Remember you can check in on the fun via our live webcams.
