We're excited to meet you and your pup! Here's everything you need to know to get started with Hound Around Resort.
Three easy steps
Schedule Orientation
Give us a call or send a message to schedule your free orientation. We'll find a time that works for you.
Meet & Greet
Bring your pup in for a temperament evaluation. We'll assess their play style and find their perfect group.
First Visit
Once approved, your dog is ready to join us! We'll start with a half-day to help them adjust.
What you'll need
Spayed/Neutered
Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered.
Current Vaccinations
Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella must be up to date.
Temperament Evaluation
All dogs must pass our temperament assessment.
No Signs of Illness
Dogs must be healthy at check-in. No coughing, lethargy, etc.
Required vaccinations
To keep all our guests safe and healthy, the following vaccinations are required for all dogs.
Rabies
Required by state law. Must be current.
Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
Core vaccine. Must be current.
Bordetella
Must be given within the last 6 months.
Your vet can fax records directly to us at 651-788-9798.

What to bring
- Vaccination records (can be faxed from your vet)
- Your dog on a leash
- Payment method (we accept cash, credit, and debit)
- Food for boarding stays (enough for stay + 1 extra day)
- Medications in original containers with instructions
- A positive attitude—your dog can sense it!
